Cracks In The Soul now available in an English translation
From our international clients, we often received the question whether Cracks In The Soul, the tragic death of a cowboy and warrior, was also available in an English translation. We are therefore pleased to announce that the e-book is now also available in English.
‘The rucksack full of misery that has been pressing on my shoulders for years has become too heavy to carry and no one is helping me take it off.’
A true story
Cracks In The Soul describes the heartbreaking narrative of a veteran’s inner struggle with everyday life, as a result of his experiences during hismany missionsand deployments. It is the story of Neil, an experienced non-commissioned officer and father, who was growing desperate and for whom proper psycho-social support came too late.
His story is not unique. Every day, many veterans and professionals in high-risk professions struggle with their mental health due to their experiences during work. Many of them are still suffering in silence. This book attempts to draw attention to their struggles.
New insights
Supported by new insights, Cracks In The Soul tries to contribute to the prevention of mental health issues and social problems while at the same time initiate development of new ways of providing help to our military personnel and professionals in other high-risk professions for whom life has turned into to mere survival. The book is intended to inspire political decision-makers,policymakers, healthcare service providers, executives, anyone who works (or has worked) within high-risk professions and all the people who care about them.
