In October Sven,as a representative of Eduquest, had the honor being part of seventy leading practitioners and experts from around the world who attended the ‘Future Defense, Deterrence and Resilience Conference’ in Wilton Park, UK. Led by General Lord Richards and Professor Dr. Julian Lindley-French, we discussed the vital relationship between the protection of the people and the projection of defensive power.

In these uncertain times when the threat of conflict is increasing, it is time for our Western democracies to stop being naive and face the harsh reality. The time of waiting and hoping that everything will turn out well is definitely over. Time to strengthen ties within the alliances and stand strong together against the threats that come our way. This requires a social approach. Now is the time for action!
